Service Project Opportunities – All with Social Distancing

As we’re moving into fall, we have some service project options we wanted to make everyone aware of:

SCOUTING FOR FOOD – BAG DROP OFF

The pack is participating in the Council-wide Scouting for Food drive, just a couple of weeks behind the official council dates. We are looking for families who are interested in helping us pass out bags to all the houses in the Vineyard neighborhoods. Drop off will be this Saturday, 10/31, starting at 9:00 am. We will meet in the parking lot for the Vineyard neighborhood pavilion. If you are interested in helping but not available at 9:00, that’s okay, please just send me an email and we can work out a time for your family to help. Please RSVP yes or no through Scoutbook. A gate code will be sent out on Friday to those who are participating.

SCOUTING FOR FOOD – BAG PICK UP

We’ll be picking up the food donations from the houses on Saturday 11/7. We’ll collect everything together at the Vineyard Pavilion parking lot, and then I will take the food to the San Antonio Food Bank. If anyone else wants to help take the food to the Food Bank, please let me know. We’ll start again at 9:00 am, but timing can be a bit flexible. Please RSVP yes or no through Scoutbook.

VETERANS DAY FLAGS – PUT OUT

The pack is looking for 2-3 families to help put out flags at the entrances to the Vineyard neighborhoods on 11/9 around 5:30pm. This usually takes about 30-45 minutes. Please email Rebecca and Alissa if you are interested in helping: service@pack502.info and cubmaster@pack502.info. There is no Scoutbook RSVP since we are only needing a few families.
