We’re asking everyone to please temporarily hold on making online sales. As of last night, Trail’s End is making a change. They will be offering free shipping to customers, but the shipping will be charged back to our unit ($7.99 for the first product, $0.99 for each additional.)
While this is something many units have expressed interest in throughout the country, many are equally not okay with this. (Additional expenses to the Pack on top of increased national dues and one-time registration fees for new scouts etc.)
Anyway, our Council has provided feedback to Trail’s End, and we are waiting on a response. Our budget was prepared not including this additional expense, and if this stays, we will need to make some adjustments. Please allow us a few days to get a better handle on what is happening, and how it impacts our unit.
